And we will be releasing an EP(CD) entitled ‘Born Day Song’ for this collaboration exclusively made available at Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie(Robertson Walk) each at $7.90 and online at our shop. For a period of 3 months limited to 50 copies only! And we are pleased to have Our Favorite Mcee, Ric(Dreamz FM) in the EP too!

The Single ‘Simple Living’ (February 2008)
Inspiration
The Single - Simple Living was inspired by a music video by Mylene Farmer called‘ Cest une belle journee’. I came across it 3 years ago during a shoot. It made me reminds me that life could be simple. And what do we need most?
‘Love’ I suppose…Companionship? Between a boy and a girl, friendship, or kinship? Even the relationship with the Creator?
Living in a city doesn’t help much to live simply. It could be busy, lonely and empty… But we can still be content and happy though. Thinking positively and appreciating the things and people around us. It is the choice that we make that makes the difference.
The Concept & Photography
In the photographs, we came up with the concept of a ‘Cherry Fantasy World’, and created our very own ‘Little Prince’, as our companion - Pixin. The photography here is interesting to me. My first time experience with such concepts. Ching(Photographer) literally created a world made from small little decorations, plants, and tiny scrubs/wood pieces that he and Sharon(Stylist) bought. Very resourceful & innovative guys!
And I noticed when Ching shoots, he enjoys the whole process very much. Very passionate and childlike. Almost like a kid playing in his playground, shooting with the mini ‘Red Chair’ and all. With giant cherries and mushrooms too!
The Image
As with image, Sharon and I had several discussion, and basically, after which, Sharon had a free play with it. She is one full of enthusiasm, explosive energy and ideas. And to my pleasant surprise, she roped in John Lee(makeup artiste). John helped us achieve a ‘doll’ like look that we wanted, nothing too cute. Something more quirky than the usual. And I must say, John has a good sense with makeup. One of the few I have enjoyed working with.

Chimney MV (2006)
Thanks for the ‘Chimney’ MV
It was by chance that I came across Lance Lee (DOP). He then introduced me to Mark Sun, the ‘Chimney’ MV director and the rest of his team; Joanne Chua(Producer) and Ruru(Animator) from Emoxis. They liked the song, got inspired and we made it happen!By coincidence, I met up with my stylist friend Vik Lim. And he brought with him the support of the Makeup Artiste, Yuan Sng and my Hair Sponsor, Evande Loh(Hair Director) from Shunji Matsuo. All of whom, I must thank with the bottom of my heart. Without their support, this music video would not have happened.
